“When I was younger, so much younger than todayÉ”

So I didn’t realize that not being on LJ anymore annoyed more than just Rachel.

Both Maria and Boyk both expressed their annoyance that I wasn’t around anymore.

So here’s what I’ll do. I’m going to double-post on cfarivar.org and on this LJ for the forseeable future, so as to prevent uproars. (If you’re an LJ user and you read my RSS feed, you might want to just pick one and stick with it.)

I had a relaxing day today — took a nice, pleasant, and long walk with Rachel around Stanfurd and enjoyed the bright blue sky that we had today. Upon my return, (following a shopping trip at Berkeley Bowl and Eddie Bauer on Shattuck, where I bought a pair of jeans for $20 (down from $44 — they’re closing permanently)) was asleep on the futon, where he leaned up and said in a very tired tone: “OhÉheyÉwe came back and took naps.”

Apparently there was too much traffic going into the City this afternoon, so they bailed on their movie in the Castro. We had a good evening of hanging out, eating over at La Casa Latina (where I discovered that despite their good tacos, their burritos aren’t so hot) for dinner.

Maria, Boyk, and Alex and I watched the rest of Circle, the Eddie Izzard DVD that I have. Damn that guy’s funny.

Tomorrow I have to work at BCN — hopefully it’ll be more interesting than last weekend, but I did get to write about an exploding turkey.

I wasn’t able to finish my KDE install at MacWorld, so maybe I’ll ditch my Farsi class and my Econ section on Monday and head into the city to finish that up. I have to have an outline in by the 11th and a draft in by the 18th. Hmm, looking at my calendar, I’ll have to work pretty heavy these coming nights on my next thesis chapter. Too busy.
