The wedding was great: food, friends and fun. I won’t go into the details of it, but I did manage to keep my new suit clean. 🙂
I got a call yesterday from someone who I emailed about serving as a French tutor for a high school student in Brooklyn a few weeks ago. It looks like it will be happening. I’ll be heading out there on Thursday. It would be cool if I had a regular stream of income.
On a political note:
Bill Clinton seems to be doing ok.
And he’s giving Kerry a hand with his campaign.
And Bush is up 11 points after the convention. Bad news. The LAT wonders: With Ball in Bush’s Court, Can He Keep the Bounce Going?
Rachel’s father had a good point when we were talking politics over the weekend: “I can tell you what Bush’s convention speech was about. But what was Kerry’s about?”
