Kerry: 8.5
Bush: 6.75
Bush gets a slight increase for not being *as* jumpy as he was before — oh and for this line in regard to the question about the draft: “I hear there’s rumors on the, uh, Internets.”
Kerry was strong, clear, decisive, made his policies understandable. I’m glad he was straight on his taxes. And plus, it was really good that he went back over the question about why people don’t like us abroad. You can’t just abandon Kyoto, or the ICC, or anything else we don’t like.
Things I learned from Pres. Bush tonight:
– Reminded us of the importance of our great ally, Poland. But the Prime Minister of Italy’s first name is now Sergio. It used to be Silvio. Huh.
– Let me make sure I got this right. Drugs made in the US that are sent to Canada for use by Canadians might not be safe enough to send back to us so we can use them?
– A Supreme Court justice should follow the lines of the Dred Scott case. Glad we’re over that slavery thing. I was worried.
– Bush has never made a mistake. Ever.
