So here’s an idea to all you podcasters out there.
We’ve got many government agencies using RSS now. (Ask Dave Winer for a full list.) But what if we took that a step further and recorded audio sessions of Congress, or even local government and made them available as podcasts? Now that would be cool. And no, Estonia’s not doing this, but they do audio record their sessions of the cabinet meetings. How cool would it be if you could follow the actions of your government as you wish via podcasting? And have a searchable archive of the ID3 tags by speaker/date/subject matter?
Anyone that works in the IT departments of local governments want to make this happen?
