So my friend Jennifer Weiss wanted to buy up a domain around her name (jenniferweiss.com, etc) but many of the relevant permutations were owned by this one guy. So she emailed him and then got this response :
“Hello New York Jennifer Weiss.
How strange — I’ve always wondered what someone else with my name is like.
. . .
My friend [redacted] told me after receiving your e-mail that he had bought up a bunch of domain names with variants of Jennifer Weiss in them — he did this a couple of years ago and I never knew. While it was slightly creepy to learn of this, it is also rather sweet. Regardless, you are more than welcome to use one of them, just tell me which you’d prefer (he said it was my call).
