We Are Iran : The Persian Blogs
For those of you who have been following this blog for awhile now, may remember that I was going to be a book editor back in December 2004 for a new book about Persian blogs. My editorship ended up not working out, as the publishing house had their own. However, the book is going to be coming out in a few months under the name We Are Iran: The Persian Blogs. Pre-order the book here. Congratulations to Nasrin!

Congrats to Matt Reed!
For his first piece (the lead story, no less) in Wired News, on Cambodian blogs. Matt emailed me awhile back asking how to break into the freelance world, and will be attending Columbia this fall. Great job, Matt!

Norway The Netherlands Canada Belgium Chile France Poland University of Utah and a bunch of people from somethingisawful.com, which I’m too cheap to buy a membership to. If someone wants to buy me a membership, I’d be eternally grateful.

Blogs Abound
So I’m reading this article about Jerry Brown’s blog. “Everyone who has something interesting to say cannot afford not to be saying it in a blog as well,” said Sreenath Sreenivasan, a professor at the Columbia School of Journalism who follows the blogosphere. Speaking of blogs, Happy Birthday to Dave Winer.

My geek cred finally arrives!
[14:19] AaronSw> yeah, a minute ago or so someone said “the reason cyrus’s piece about podcasts was so good was because cyrus is a blogger” or something like that
