Rebecca’s back (again!<\/a>), with yet another potent pairing of poems, this time in Octopus<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

I will say that I’m a big fan of “Cold,”<\/a> as it mentions one of my favorite countries, Estonia!<\/p>\n

ECHOLOCATION<\/a><\/p>\n

Most days I wear
\nthe hunched run<\/p>\n

of an animal, darting
\nuntil caught<\/p>\n

in net or claw\u2014
\nand that\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n

Trapped, I noise
\nand flap, send you<\/p>\n

pressed air,
\nlet you forge<\/p>\n

toward me.
\nLet you touch me.<\/p>\n

Let you cut
\nthrough net and claw.<\/p>\n

COLD<\/a><\/p>\n

I like my shadow when I\u2019m in this coat.<\/p>\n

I look like a Russian soldier or I\u2019m wearing a dress.<\/p>\n
