So as you may recall, I wrote a story<\/a> for the Times about podcasting back in October.<\/p>\n

Lo and behold, I discover that this morning, not only is there another story<\/a> on podcasting in the Times — but that it’s on page A1! (Below the fold, but still.)<\/p>\n

The story really doesn’t add that much, besides the fact that it has the voices of more podcasters and mentions that there’s talk of sponsorship and so forth. Essentially it’s the same as what I wrote. <\/p>\n

My two problems with this:<\/p>\n

– Did the A1 editor and\/or the reporter check the archives? That’s one of the biggest lessons that I learned at the Daily Cal. Read the archives, particularly of your own paper. It would appear that the sections of the NYT don’t talk to each other. <\/p>\n

– If this story is so important, how come I wasn’t on A1 !?!? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
