The <a href=\"http:\/\/sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/object\/article?o=4&#038;f=\/c\/a\/2006\/03\/21\/MNGD8HRJ761.DTL\">Chronicle<\/a> published it today in conjunction with <a href=\"http:\/\/sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/object\/article?o=4&#038;f=\/c\/a\/2006\/03\/21\/MNGD8HRJ761.DTL\">this piece<\/a> saying that the new eastern span of the Bay Bridge won&#8217;t be done until 2013. <\/p>\n<p>Most interesting part comes from the timeline:<\/p>\n<p><i>November 1998: Residents of San Francisco, Oakland, Emeryville and Berkeley vote that passenger rail service should be &#8220;part of the redesign of the Bay Bridge&#8221; &#8212; an advisory measure initiated by Willie Brown. <\/i><\/p>\n<p>Awesome!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s an awesome photo of my favorite bridge.
