This afternoon, following my workout at the RSF, I tackled more of my thesis and only have about five pages to go on my first chapter, due on Friday. It’s good to feel like I’m actually doing something of worth — but we’ll see what my classmates think of it next week. When the chapter is done, I’ll HTML it and throw it up on the web — it’s expanded from the draft.
Also I got to hear Errol Morris and Robert McNamara talk in conversation with Mark Danner of the j-school about the new flick The Fog of War. I think McNamara is an interesting character and I really want to go see the film.
Post-show, Boyk and I went and hit up Top Dog, and got fresh donuts from Kingpin. Aaahh, the joys of fresh donuts. I got a chocolate Žclair, just after they had been chocolated. SO GOOD! 🙂
Paul Boutin points to the fact that the BART Party car has become a permanent Friday fixture. Maybe it’ll turn into something like Critical Mass. One of these days I’ll get to one/both of those events.
And finally, for your amusement: Charlie Brown + OutKast = this.
