So apparently I scared the living daylights out of WookieFetish.com, so much so that they deleted all of their posts talking about their hoaxing operation and replaced them with dumb and obviously made up posts about wookies and what not. Where their new online hideout is, I do not know.
Oh, and fellas, here’s a tip. If I wanted to start an Internet hoax from one forum and then migrate it to another — I wouldn’t use the same usernames on both forums! That’s you HolyCannoli and [redacted]! What amateurs. I could Internet hoax my way out of a paper bag better than these fools.
And finally, the good folks over at Wikipedia are taking up the case as well.
The Internet never ceases to entertain me.
Update 11:34 pm : Ooo, and now the Wikipedia entry is boasting screenshots, even more proof than I got before. This looks awfully like a smoking gun to me.
