Becky and I saw Ira Glass and David Rakoff at an event in Berkeley tonight.

I heard horrible things about the interview! Did the interviewer really get booed? And ticket prices refunded?

She did get catcalled/booed, yes. No idea if tickets were refunded. Mine weren’t.

i was at this show too.
the moderator was terrible.
i don’t remember the booing
but the last bit about david and ira ‘jamming’ was embarrassing.
what was she thinking?

CalPerformances gave people tickets to another performance as compensation.

despite all that, i enjoyed being in the same room as Ira Glass, you can’t beat that.
