“All of Europe, you must do this.” “Well, we’re not gonna. We’re gonna have a sandwich.”
In case you missed it, France’s population has rejected the EU Constitution. I’m interested to read more analysis on this later. Back from Cincy. Good to see Dallas off. Good to be home, though. New kitchen sink tomorrow. Curtains with Maria/Lauren tomorrow. Gas is turned on Tuesday, but no Internet until June 7. WTF!?!? (Good thing for me, there’s WiFi at the Hudson Bay CafŽ nearby.) Party on Saturday. At least I got some freelance work to do. 🙂

Ask not for whom the Campanile tolls
I’m back in B-town. Or rather, technically, Oaktown, at my new digs in North Oakland, which are totally sweet. For the record, Maria and Lauren are awesome for coming to pick me up and Rich and Boyk are awesome for helping me move my brother’s stuff the other night. I won a pair of free tickets from KALX to this show at 12 Galaxies in the Mission on Wednesday night. First person who emails me who wants them can have…

Une semaine!
Greetings from Hartford. Philly was fun yesterday. I scored the above hat yesterday for $10 on sale at a cool sports paraphanalia shop. Chicago Cubs 1914. Sweet, isn’t it? Beantown tomorrow. ‘Rents in NYC on Monday. Graduation on Wednesday. Home on Friday. Can’t wait. Who’s down for the Albatross late Friday and/or Saturday night?

Done!
Finally done! Got about three hours of sleep last night from 3 am – 6 am and finished the book proposal and sample chapter. Went to a party on the roof of a classmate’s apartment on 94th/Broadway with a great view of the Hudson. We’ll see where this leads. So this should be it for me and school. You can start calling me “Master Farivar” starting next Wednesday. So what’s next for me? Well, I’m back in Oakland on May…

“Where’s the fucking money, you little brat !?!?”
So in the ongoing saga of my stolen money, Paypal has informed me that they will reimburse everything, which is good. The account number has been cancelled and will be changed. When I went to look this morning to see if the payments had cleared so I could determine what was actually purchased, it looks like that nearly $900 in payments via Paypal to IGXE (an online trading post for selling of virtual gaming goods). So my guy had a…

Arturo Ryman
An “Arturo Ryman” has made nearly $900 in payments to PayPal using my debit card number. Somehow he got ahold of it, even though I didn’t lose the card. Now I can’t withdraw cash for the next week. Let me just make a shout out right now to Mr. Ryman. Hey, Arturo? Fuck you.

Happy Easter
Well, a Happy Easter to all, and to all a good night. Or something like that. Sarmad and I hit up the H-town (read: Hartford) scene for a tasty weekend full of roast duck on Saturday and roast leg of lamb in stereo (read: two of them) today. Made some progress on the book front, but I had to wake up today at 6:45 am to do a phone interview. Missed the train connection in New Haven by mere minutes…

Noah’s Japanese Printmaking Art
My buddy Noah Breuer is studying in Kyoto for the year, and is learning about traditional Japanese printmaking techniques. He just sent these photos of some of his latest works. Complete set
